The nightmare just gets worse. You already know that they nailed sick old Father Shanley in San Diego and now he's back in Massachusetts as we speak, locked away for the time being where he can't hurt any more children. It's also well publicized that for about a month and a half he was nowhere to be seen.

Well, now we know where he was for that missing month. He was in Pattaya, Thailand, the notorious child sex capital of the world with one of his other fugitive pedophile priest buddies, partying it up before he came back to the States. No one knows why he came back. I'm scratching my head on this one myself. On the other hand, I'm not about to try to hack into the mind of a serial pedophile and unravel the reasons behind anything he does. I'm just glad his serial pedophile ass is sitting in a cold stone cell where he's not going to be raping any kids anymore.

I sincerely hope that the Father Shanley episode of this wretched soap opera can finally come to a close. That way we can concentrate on getting his buddy Cardinal Law a cell right next to him.

holy shit... it never ceases to amaze me that the church just completely overlooks the activities of their people, and this is the perfect example of their apparent disregard for the laws and morals of mere mortals.

Hang on a sec: a pair of priests running a gay B&B?? Spending thousands of dollars on a trip to Thailand and a child-sex porno resort?? For *30 DAYS???* And the damn church is *paying*for this??

This just proves the complicity of the Catholic Church in these activities, and their accomplice status. The damned poop needs to be indicted as well.

These international sex trade trips are very popular here in the good old USA. There are web sites devoted to helping men find the place where they can get the youngest girls (or boys) for the lowest price. How disgusting. I dont check my concern for human rights at the border, and no one else should either. That said, I'm glad I abandoned the Catholic faith years ago, or else I'm sure I'd be having one doozy of a spiritual crisis now.

If the Catholic hierarchy refuses to punish these priests, and refuses to let the law step in, then why don't we ship them all off to Thailand? Then, we politely inform them that they are never to return to the U.S. We get rid of them, the priests all end up with AIDS or other STDs, and if you're still pissed off at one of them, you can fly over to Thailand and hire yourself a hitman.

Well....ok I can't really defend the Catholic Church (having been raised catholic I've been trying to come up with something...sort of an obligation feeling). They do a lot of good...but, holy shit, you'd think they'd have noticed that two preists were going to "come fuck children" central. And about the pope, lay off, ok? He's ancient, he's been shot (man that messed him up really badly), and he's near death. Cut him a little slack. As for the leader of the church in the US....I could care less.

How about hitting the Church where it hurts? If the Church doesn't turn over *ALL* persons involved in using their position in the Church to obtain sex, REVOKE their tax-exempt status across the board.
