A little common sense, please!

Elizabeth McGarry alleges that she was forced to drink her own breast milk by a security guard at Kennedy Airport in New York to prove that it was not a threat to other passengers. Surprisingly, Ms. McGarry is not looking to sue anyone over the incident, but justifiably wants to make sure that it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Civil Rights attorney Ronald Kuby quipped, "The number of middle-aged, lactating white women who passed through al-Qaida training is probably negligible."

I realize that the possibility exists that some kook might smuggle some sort of damage-doing substance in a baby bottle, but surely there must be a better way to test a squirt of the stuff just to make sure, even if it's not what she said is was, that it would not be harmful to anyone.

A suicidal kook would probably go ahead and drink whatever it is (or pretend to) on the assumption that s/he would survive long enough to carry out the terror mission.

Anyway, she could have chucked the whole lot in the sink. Neat thing about breast milk, you can always make more.
