Number 1 Canada Our northern neighbor shares the longest
undefended border in the world, but the enemies on September
11, 2001 used it to enter our nation.
- Yup, that they did. And the US started shipping
Canadian's off to third world countries because you didn't
like the colour of there skins.
Since 1867 when Canada became an independent nation, the
United States and Canada have shared a strong relationship
including military support. As Canada’s liberal
government continues to widen the gap that has formed between
our nations over the last ten years with policies such as gay
marriage, unlimited immigration, decriminalized marijuana, and
Operation Iraqi Freedom, - Uh, I think Iraqi Freedom was an
extreme RIGHT wing policy. That was entirely the US. As for
the government hating pot and gay marriage.. well, actually,
abolising that would be extremely left wing (heavy government,
lack of individual rights) ideal. It's only in the states
where right wing also = Christian way of life superior to all
others comes into play.
many of us on both sides of the border wonder what went
wrong, and how we can fix the problem. - Come on, were left
wing exteremeists! Annexation! You know you want to! After
all, we share the largest border ext ext.
The problems with American-Canadian relations will not be
solved until Canada realizes how grateful it should be in
regards to the United States. - Greatful for having Nafta
flung in our face? Or getting called on MAI while the US
flagrantly and ILLEGALLY tariffs softwood lumber up the ying
yang and moves to hack away at BC's fledgling film industry?
Or having our citizens deported to India and other fun places
after having there passports torn to shreads without being
allowed to call a consolate.. or how about that guy who got
jailed for 60 days without charge back after 9/11? (or a
zillion indicents of random harassment of Canadians crossing
the border.. I'd complain, but it's no worse then what the US
is doing to it's own citizens)
If the United States ignored Canada, Canada would be
defenseless - And who would attack us? China??? And you'd stop
the chinese forces moving into the states how?
and its economy would collapse because Canada would lose
its biggest trading partner. - Now this, I admit, is
absolutely true. But if the US stopped trade unilaterally with
Canada, you'd be looking at a depression that would make the
30's look like the 20's.
Further, a majority of Canadians have grown to look down on
the military, - Flagrantly untrue. The majority of Canadians
in POLITICS have underfunded the military's equiptment. But
the men are quite good and there is a great deal of respect
for our own armed forces.
and this is clear in the current strength of the Canadian
armed forces. If twenty thousand Chinese troops landed in
Canada tomorrow, the United States military would have to kick
them out of the nation. - I'm hoping you would. If the Chinese
attacked the US through mexico, we'd be sending troops down as
well. (what little we have)
Lastly, if you want to understand what is wrong with the
current ideals of the Democrat Party in the United States just
look north to Canada, which has become the home of extreme
leftist policy. -
Number 2 France Number 3 Germany The simple reason these
two countries actually actively opposed the invasion of Iraq
is simple - they were owed an absolute sh@tpile of dough by
Suddam Hussein for weapons, who would have probobly paid them
off in oil eventually.
I'm sure this guy will be a republican nominee for election
in 2028 or so :>
