Usually, the sort of morons referred to here are being poked at for trying to restrict the freedoms of others. this story is about a different sort of moron. His name has not been released publicly, but a New Zealand man apparently had a couple drinks and decided to go bungee-jumping. The staff at the bungee platform refused him, so he ran past them and dove off a cliff into the water 150 feet below.

There are no plans to charge the man with any crime.

The linked story says that he was rescued and air-lifted to a hospital, but his current condition is unknown.

I hope the hospital doesn't refuse him service. Hate to think he might decide to operate on himself.
