Courtesy of BradBlog and morons.org reader Christopher Waldrop, we have learned that Fox News has reassigned congressman Mark Foley; he is now a Democrat, not a Republican, according to Fox.

According to BradBlog, during three different cutaways in two different segments, Fox identified Foley as "Former Congressman Mark Foley (D-FL)".

I'd like to believe that this was merely an accident, but I doubt that it was, considering what a shill for the right-wing Fox is. It seems more likely that Fox realized that those watching the O'Reilly Factor would be understandably outraged at Foley's misconduct, and it served their agenda to redirect that outrage at Democrats. Now you might think this is folly; after all, who could possibly mistake Foley for a Democrat with all of the news? But I must remind you: this is a network that thrives on planting misconceptions amongst its willing audience.
