This isn't a homework assignment for those suffering from Agnosia. It's for everybody else.

My premise is that Wolf Blitzer and his crew of old white men can barely disguise their utter contempt for and frustration with Democrats in general and Barack Obama in particular. I observed this myself while exercising at the gym a few days ago. With no sound on the TV (I didn't feel like tuning to whatever FM station carried the audio inside the gym), all I could do was watch the faces and read the captions.

It was then that it dawned on me that CNN's talking heads are giving away far more than they think simply in their facial expressions, a fact that becomes even more obvious when you can't hear the sound and can focus intently on the facial expressions and body language. These guys despise Obama, and their unspoken language betrays them.

But don't take my word for it. Tune in yourself. Turn on CNN during their coverage of the Democratic Convention, and mute your TV. Turn on the captions so you can read what they're saying (versus hearing it) and then watch the body language acted out by the elderly white men and token minority woman.

Watch very closely. You'll see what I mean.
